Washington D.C.

Day One
A.M. departure from designated pick-up point. Travel to Washington, D.C. with rest stops as needed. Lunch on our own. After arriving at “The Mall” we will proceed to visit the Smithsonian museums of our choosing. We will take a food break, followed by check-in at our hotel for the next two nights.

Day Two
After a deluxe continental breakfast we will meet our local guide for the day. We will depart for a full day of touring to include the World War II Memorial, the Viet Nam Memorial Wall, Korean War Memorial and Lincoln Memorial. Lunch will be on our own. We will also drive Embassy Row and see the many foreign embassies of the world. We will visit the National Cathedral where many presidents have worshipped. Drive by other sights that may include the White House, FBI, Ford’s Theater, Peterson House, The Supreme Court, and Capital Building. Dinner tonight is included. After dinner we will have a night tour of Washington, D.C. to include a visit to the Kennedy Center terrace for an astounding rooftop view of the lights and sounds of DC at night. We will also stop at the largest monument in D.C., the FDR Memorial, and other sights. Now it’s goodbye to our guide and back to the hotel for some much needed rest, so we can continue our tour in the morning.

Day Three
After a deluxe continental breakfast we check out of our hotel and depart for Arlington National Cemetery where we will board a sightseeing tourmobile for visits to the Robert E. Lee Memorial, Arlington House, Tomb of the Unknowns, Kennedy Family grave sites, the Eternal Flame and the Women In Combat Memorial. All this will be followed by lunch and shopping. We then depart for home with pleasant memories. Rest stops as needed.
